It’s almost the end of the year, but there are still features that WhatsApp is ready to launch as soon as possible. One of them is a new interface for voice calls.
As found by WABetaInfo, this new interface for voice calling is being developed, which means that although the announcement notes that it will be available in a future update for iOS and Android users, no general beta tester is currently attempting it.
WhatsApp redesigns the interface for a future update to make it more compact and modern, organizing the existing space: the new redesign will look great, especially when making group voice calls.
At first glance it does not seem to have changed much, but it looks more polished than the current version. Not only that, we still have to wait and see how WhatsApp handles some of the UI tweaks that are not shown in this screenshot.
Not only that, WABetainfo says that WhatsApp works on indicators for end-to-end encryption. As you probably know, it’s been years since all the messages in the app were encrypted from end to end. With that in mind, the team behind WhatsApp decided to bring in new visual additions so that you can know for sure that everything you say is between you and the people you choose.
As you can see from the screenshot page above, WhatsApp works on new indicators for status and call parts. “WhatsApp is also planning to add the same announcement to the chat section,” the statement said.
